Texas defines what supervision must include, but the quality of your experience depends on who guides you. With Robert Boes, LCSW-S, you’ll complete your requirements while building the skills, confidence, and insight needed for long-term success.

What makes supervision with Robert truly unique is his commitment to teaching the why behind clinical decisions. He uses structured education, real-world examples, and guided reflection to help supervisees understand core theories, ethical frameworks, and practical applications. Each meeting is intentional—focused on building strong clinical judgment, confidence in decision-making, and a deep understanding of how to think as a social worker, not just what to do next.

  • Choose a Board-approved LCSW-S and complete your supervision contract before beginning clinical hours.

  • Complete 3,000 hours of clinical practice over at least 24 months in an approved setting.

  • Participate in 100 hours of supervision focused on clinical skill, ethics, and professional development.

  • Submit your hours to BHEC, receive approval, and pass the ASWB Clinical Exam to earn your LCSW.
